Coquito is the ever popular coconut milk punch. It’s like an eggnog but with an islander twist and a spirited kick. This is a very easy to make drink and great choice, especially during the holiday season. The Cortes Chocolate Coquito recipe is so sweet and savory that you might want to resist the temptation.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups Cortés brand Chocolate (ground)
  • ¼  cup Water
  • 2 cans (15 oz) Coconut Cream
  • 1 can (14 oz) Condensed Milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) Evaporated Milk
  • 1½ cups Puerto Rican Rum
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon (powdered)

Directions

  1. Mix water with chocolate until pasty.
  2. Heat it in a microwave-safe container to melt.
  3. Let it cool at room temperature.
  4. Mix with all other ingredients.
  5. Make sure all ingredients are well mixed.
  6. Pour into a glass bottle and refrigerate.
